Custom Picture and Drink Coasters - Katz Hires Graphic Artist

Katz Americas, the largest manufacturer of pulp board beverage coasters in the Americas, has hired Leah Thomas as a Graphic Artist in the company’s Marketing Department. The addition of Thomas will allow Katz Americas to play a more active marketing role with its present, as well as prospective, customers.

Thomas, who has worked primarily as a freelance artist, will be responsible for much of the company’s graphic design needs. In addition to designing a wide variety of drink coasters, she will also be responsible for maintaining or updating marketing collateral, trade show materials, and all advertising tools.

Thomas, originally from Avon, Connecticut, is now a resident of Amherst. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Niagara County Community College as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Design from Buffalo State College. Prior to joining Katz, she worked for various independent clients including several restaurants and small businesses throughout Western New York.
