We put our money where our mouth is when it comes to producing eco-friendly coasters.

In fact, in recent years, we’ve implemented numerous environmentally friendly initiatives into our operation and we’re always searching for newer, greener ways of doing business. Here’s a look at some of our current practices:

• We print with only vegetable-based inks.
• All unused inks are recycled, as is all board waste.
• Our base material consists of 40% recycled content.
• We recently installed high efficiency lighting in our facility.
• Our drink coasters are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
• We use water-based coatings on our coasters, rather than petroleum-based coatings.

In addition, the pulpboard we use to make our drink coasters comes from our own paper mill in Germany, which strictly adheres to sustainable forestry best practices and is PEFC-certified. PEFC stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, which is the world's largest forest certification organization.
