Cooking With KATZ: Taco Tuesday

If you are anything like us, you’re bored in your home and probably running out of things to eat or eating the same thing all the time. Well we’re here to save you. We will be posting some new recipes in hopes that we can make quarantine a little less like borantine, and “spice” up your life!

Our third featured chef is Product Manager, Stacy Sikora

Ahhh the famous Taco Tuesday, a tradition like no other. Every week there is a Tuesday, which means, every week there is an excuse to eat tacos! Our captain, Stacy, is going to show everyone just how her and her family set sail for Taco Tuesday.

 

Here’s what you need to gather and the directions on how to really spice up your Tuesday: Taco Tuesday

Tuesday’s
Sombrero’s
Tequila, screw it, why not?!

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained

1 pack taco seasoning (any brand), I use 2 packs per 1 lb. of beef for more flavor

Taco shells, burrito shells, fixin’s of your choice

Sliced tomatoes

Shredded lettuce

Ortega Taco Sauce

Sour cream

 

Directions

Cook your ground beef completely. Then add ¾ cups of water and seasoning packet(s) to meat, heat and blend.

Optional: Heat your tortilla shell in a pan before assembling your taco

Build your Taco!!
